WELCOME
In the Peanuts comic strip, Linus carried that little blue blanket everywhere he went. It was his source of comfort, peace, and grounding. I smile because I know that feeling all to well. For me, that blanket was never made of fabric… it was music/songs. Music became my refuge. My hiding place. My voice. When life felt too heavy for words, melody spoke for me.

Simple. Original. Noteworthy. Genuine.

ABOUT
I’m Dr. Percy “Bad” Bady - born and raised on the West Side of Chicago. My musical journey began repeating melodies my mom said I heard as a 3yr old. I didn’t learn by sheet music first… I learned by Sound, Spirit and feeling. God gave me the ability to hear and play anything I could imagine and that gift opened doors I never planned for, but always felt destined to walk through.

I stepped out of the classroom and into the calling – and the world responded. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to write and produce songs that have reached across generations and genres earning 26 Gold & Platinum records, Grammy™, Dove, and BMI awards, and collaborations with legends like Marvin Sapp, Donald Lawrence, Toni Braxton, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, BeBe & CeCe Winans, and many more. I was also honored to contribute to one of the most impactful songs of our time “I Believe I Can Fly.”

Today, my heart is still burning just as strong. I’m expanding into film, sync, global collaborations, and preparing to release one of my most intentional projects yet entitled “28 DAYS.” (jmy journey through prostate cancer) But more than success, my mission remains the same: to create music that lives longer than the moment. That heals, tells the truth and points back to God.

Wherever my feet land – I pray impact follows.
